Due to the proposal of the new route for the HS2, Phase 1,  Aston Villa Football Club discovered they were set to lose 10% of the land at their existing training ground at Bodymoor. As a result, plans were drawn up to create a new entrance to the training facility and to take this opportunity to invest in state-of-the-art indoor academy and first team training facilities for Aston Villa Football Club.

Richard contacted the Project Manager at O’Brien Contracting who in turn contacted Richard to request an estimate for the work. We were successful in submitting a winning estimate for the job and so were granted to contract to supply and install signage for the new entrance and training facilities.

The specification for this installation was two sets of 3mm thick brushed stainless steel letters mounted onto curved walls both sides of the new entrance. This job was coupled with two digitally printed Aston Villa shields and laminated with anti-graffiti film.

After successfully installing the new entrance signage we was asked by Aston Villa’s Project Director to quote, supply and fit the wayfinding signage in their new car park for the first team and second teams; this phase is ongoing.

Works continue onsite with the addition of extra football pitches and a new academy facility with associated buildings at their training ground.
