Coventry Lounge
Previously named the Ricoh Stadium and more recently the Coventry Building Society Arena, the Coventry Building Society took over as the main sponsor and were provided with a large reception suite for their promotional use.
We met up with the Coventry Building Society team along with a building contractor at the stadium and they shared with us a set of visuals of how they wanted the new named “The Coventry Lounge” to look. The whole area was thoroughly surveyed that same day and we collaborated with the building contractor in as far as routing our electrical supplies and time framing other works during construction.
Back at base we created designs from the visual and provided samples blending the Coventry Building Society corporate style into the features without looking too branded.
There were many unusual elements we produced:
- A feature wall comprising of halo lit lettering and a photo display wall
- An LED illuminated sign which looked like bare neon
- Digitally printed wall integrated with 3D features
- Translucent manifestations
It was a fascinating project and one we at Sign Systems are immensely proud of.
