The airport wanted to reclaim a section of the Travelex demise as part of the redevelopment of the Landside Departures area. This handed Travelex an opportunity to refurbish their own currency exchange unit and bring it in line with their current corporate branding.
Following meetings between our surveyor and Travelex’s Facility team a specification for the updated store was created.
As a sign manufacturing company the mandate was a little more than sign making and more within the realms of shop fitting. The client had confidence in our abilities to extend ourselves and we rose to their challenge.
All works were carried out overnight to cause minimum disruption to passengers and after every shift the Travelex unit was left “fit for business”. As with all airport work there were strict security measures and our work practices had to accommodate this.
